Why did I write a book?

In the mist of promoting and selling my book,
a question keeps being repeatedly asked to me.

"Why did you write a book?"

In 1999, a year after I got sober, breaking off my engagement with an abusive alcoholic fiance, and my A.A. sponsor relapsing with drugs, ending up homeless, divorced and in a psych ward...it hit me!
Happiness isn't about who you are with,
what you do or where you are living.  Happiness comes from within.  And sometimes, those of us who are strong willed, have to have everything stripped away in order to realize this.

When I started writing this book in 1999,
the title was "There's more to me then what you see."
If you read my book, you'll relate to why I picked that title at that time.

I lived a life of deception, as often women that have been raped, abused and struggle with fertility often do.  God had a lot more faith fulfilling experiences for me to conquer before
'putting it out there'!

This book, Let your lessons become your blessings is a guide to learning to be positive, hopeful and forgiving to yourself and others.

As you can imagine, I struggled for many years with forgiving others.  I had been victimized numerous times and suffered. But, today, I am a victor instead of a victim.

Through God's strength, mercy and grace...I am restored.
And it's time I share this to give hope.

That's why I wrote this book.

Many blessings to you.  Hopeful 4 u-Tina Levene
