HELP the HURT!
As a community member of the Hillsborough County
Anti-Bullying Advisory Committee for 5 years, I find it heartbreaking that
young people are being bullied.
But...what about the bully?
If we look at this as a whole,
we will see in the big picture view that
this all comes down to hurt.
The bully is hurting and needs help.
The victim is hurt because of the bully.
The bystanders hurt the victim by not doing
something to help the victim and stop the bully.
HURTing people HURT people.
As a speaker, I address 'hurts' that a lot of youth I've worked with
go through. Abuse, addictions, abandonment, divorce and many other
adversities!
Please be a listening ear to someone today.
Try not to fix, try not to control...just listen.
