Forgive and forget..

I love this quote (above).  After working over 15 years in mental health, drug addiction and juvenile justice, I hear people with guilt ridden regret everyday say things like:
"I shouldn't have..."
"If only I would've.."
"I can't believe I..."
 
Today, is a new day, unpack those guilt trip bags since you're the best travel agent for guilt trips.
 
Live today for the 24 hours you are given.  Yesterday is history, today is a gift that's why it's called the present.  Forgive yourself and others.  But most of all, forget the regret you may have.
If the only thing you get out of forgetting is respect and love for yourself...isn't that enough?
